On September 19-20, the Department of Education, Youth Policy, and Language Development organized a large-scale tour of the unique historical places of the South Kazakhstan Oblast. During the tour, Ordabasy, Otyrar, Sozak, Baidibek regions, as well as the city of Turkestan were visited. The tour was devoted to the 550th anniversary of the Kazakh Khanate. In Turkestan, there was an oblast seminar on Southern Historical Event Location, which was attended by faculty, students, and master's level students of our Faculty. The faculty of the History of Kazakhstan and General History, Archeology, and Geography Departments presented their reports.
